Growing up, my mother possessed a collection of developed photographs from disposable cameras and home videos recorded on our video camera. Several times a month, I found myself immersed in the nostalgia of these memories, as I viewed the old photos and videos. My favorite aspect of this experience was the depiction of our family engaging in seemingly ordinary yet meaningful activities—preparing dinner on a Tuesday evening, enjoying our favorite films, playing on the swing set in our pajamas, and biking through our neighborhood. Each image served as a bridge to the past, allowing me to relive those moments as they were.

This is the essence of my photography style: an emphasis on capturing life in its most authentic form.

In 2015, I acquired my first camera, a decision that has since shaped my journey. Although I have ventured into various professional roles, photography has consistently been a reliable and creative outlet. Today, my passion for this art form is stronger than ever, and I am profoundly grateful to pursue it as my career.

120 MM FILM

Why Film?

Film photography captures authentic, untouched moments. Its rich textures produce timeless images that feel real and nostalgic. Film fosters thoughtfulness, evoking genuine emotions and spontaneous moments, creating a unique story of your special day.

120MM

It’s a bigger film, which translates to higher resolution images from which you can make larger prints or very high-resolution scans. It’s “Professional”: Because of the high resolution of the images, medium format is geared better for professional applications. Medium format cameras were almost all designed for professional photographers, so the build and meter quality of the camera bodies and lenses is built to withstand professional usage.

35MM

35mm film is a strip of film 35 millimeters wide with holes along the edges for moving through a camera. Used for still photos since the early 1900s and popularized by Leica cameras, it became the standard because it’s small, easy to use, and gives good image quality while being portable. A typical 35mm roll holds 36 exposures and produces a noticeable grain and wide tonal range. It’s available as color negative, color slide, and black-and-white films, with different ISO speeds for various light conditions. Photographers like 35mm for its hands-on process, natural look, and long-lasting prints.
